Plans for the future

There are a lot of exciting events coming up here at Five Cities Keichu-Do, and I'd like to highlight just a few of them:

• Five Cities Keichu-Do Anniversay on Saturday, February 18 at 2:00: This special event will combine a martial arts demo, a "Fighting Friday moved to Saturday", our annual student awards, and more. Don't miss it! Be sure to invite family and friends. (The yard sale to raise money for the Miller family's medical expenses will be held at the church earlier that same day.)
  
• Open Gyms: Keep an eye out here and on our events page for dates. If you want to take part in the demo on February 18, be sure to be at the open gym on Friday, Feb. 10 at 6:00 for practice.
• Upcoming Tournaments ---
• March 4: Tournament of Champions in Riverside, CA. See Sensei about registering.
• March 30 - April 2: USKA National Championships in Albuquerque, NM. We are excited to be taking a team with us this year. Hanna Vise, Trevor and Peyton Maas will be competing, along with the Prewetts.
  
• April 22: The Crothers, special members of our extended Keichu family, are hosting a tournament in Carlsbad, CA. This is a "don't miss" for our students!
• August 3-6: USKA World Championships in Dallas, TX. If you think you are ready for the tournament experience of the year, start planning now.
