Sometimes it seems as if our society creates a special day for almost everything, but here is a day I can really celebrate! The third national Martial Arts Day will be Saturday, October 16 this year, and our small school is planning on observing the day in grand style. We're inviting the community, friends, family---basically everyone we can---to come celebrate with us. Beginning at 10:00 am, we're going to have at least two hours of fun and excitement, with a martial arts demonstration, an "Earn Your First Belt" class (open to students with little or no martial arts background ages 6 and above), safety tips for children, refreshments, prizes, and giveaways. And all of this will be FREE!
